This very interesting conceptual project by U.K. artist
Zoe Irvine was inspired by a period in history 1880 - 1920
when the telephone was the first broadcasting medim for
entertainment. There were also telephonebroadcasting
networks in St. Petersburg, London, Dublin, Brussels,
Budapest, and Lisbon linking opera houses and theatres in
major cities to the telephone via the theatrophone.

Ms. Asbjornson tries to arrange her schedule so that she
is able to perform at this wonderful event.
Hundreds of people will enjoy a free Thanksgiving day
meal at "Mama Liz's 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner."
Chefs include Rick Hankus of Ocean Diner, Ted Nguyen and
Steve Bopp. Volunteer coordinator Donna Dawick of
Moore & Associates Realtors will run the dining room,
Ray Riddle will produce the show as Music Coordinator,
Manhattan Bread and Bakery, Sandpipers,& Easy Reader
readers will contribute time and service to others.
